Our very first Chardonnay, 2010, just recently released. Bright and lively with a hint of oak, and mid-palate richness from lots of lees contact during fermentation. Very white Burgundy style !! This wine will reset your palate for Napa Valley Chardonnay.
Tropical fruit, nice acid, rich mid-palette, hint of oak toast and lingering, sweet finish.

Wicker Vineyards
Ron Wicker, a 40-year veteran in vineyard management who recently added winemaker to his resume.
Wicker had been growing and distributing grapes for decades; he was even named Napa Valley Grapegrowers 2010 Grower of the Year. Known previously for their Cabernet Sauvignon wines, they are committed to production of the highest quality Cabernet Sauvignon wines from our vineyard located on the western slopes of Howell Mountain overlooking Napa Valley. Aged 18 to 20 months in French oak, we are holding these incredible wines for release until they start to open up in the bottle. The WOW! exclamation when tasting our late release Cabernets for the first time is a testament to the vineyard, the winemaking skills of Dennis Johns, and to the extended time in bottle.
Now it is time to enjoy their first Chardonnay.
