Treana The Treana Red displays elegant tannins that provide structure, depth and balance to the Paso Robles blend. Up-front aromas of ripe, dark fruit and exotic spice are followed by rich notes of mulberry and plum. Complimentary flavors of mocha, tobacco and toasted oak round out this complex wine. The Syrah adds a bright red fruit component, while the Cabernet provides depth and power. A full, rounded mouth-feel leads to a silky, lasting finish. Wine Spectator Ripe and generous, delivering pure, ripe blackberry, cassis, currant and a touch of pepper and spice. Full-bodied, turning elegant and ending with a juicy berry aftertaste. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Drink now through 2017. Score: 89 - James Laube, July 2010.
