Syrah
Produce more deeply red colored, tannin, long lived wines, a bit more "peppery" along with wild gamey, boysenberry flavors. Syrah is known also for its spicy blackberry, plum and peppery flavors. Often there, are additional notes of licorice, bitter chocolate and mocha. Also it known as Shiraz.

Food:  Pâtés, Charcuterie, Spicy Bean soup, Lamb Kabobs, Kobe Beef, Smoked Pork Chops, Grilled meats, Veal Stew, Tuna, Swordfish.
