Clos Pepe Estate Pinot Noir 2005
The 2005 CPE Pinot Noir shows deep garnet/purple color, has a heady aroma of blackberry, blueberry, strawberry and black cherry, and is harmonious in the mouth, showing a great balance of ripe fruit, good grip and surprising acidity. Over the next five years the mid-palate of the wine will flesh out with minerals and complexity, but for now it is a wine of pure pleasure and food-friendliness. |
