Rich concentration with aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, licorice and a hint of black pepper. Full and velvety tannins lead to a full mouth feel. This is a wine of great complexity and concentration with a long, lingering finish.
Wine Enthusiast This is a Cabernet-based Bordeaux blend, and quite a good one. It has a classic mountain profile of intense cassis, cherry and cedar flavors, with firm, astringent tannins. Decanting will help it soften, but you’re better off cellaring this polished wine for a few years. Score: 91. —Steve Heimoff, December 31, 2007.All sizes are 750mL unless otherwise noted.
