Wonderful aromas and flavors of blueberries, black pepper and menthol herb. The tannins are refined and long. A very well balanced wine that fills and caresses the mouth. The integrated oak and creamy texture help make this wine a hedonistic experience.
Wine Advocate The red wines are fairly priced for the high quality they represent. The 2006 Humbaba Proprietary Red (60% Syrah, 40% Petite Sirah) exhibits a dense opaque ruby/purple color as well as a big, peppery, earthy nose offering hints of root vegetables interwoven with sexy black currant liqueur. Full-bodied, opulent, juicy, and succulent, it will be drinkable for 3-4 years. Score: 90. —Robert Parker, June 2008.All sizes are 750mL unless otherwise noted.
