Our DRII Cabernet is designed to showcase approachability and bright fruit in a more gregarious structure. The aromas show a lovely combination of bright cherry and dark raspberry fruit complexing with bayberry and cedary notes. Silky and round at entry, the palate is completely approachable now, giving this wine a lovely presence even at the time of release. The finish shows the same level of flavor intensity as the DRSE, but with a slightly lighter and more fruit-forward expression. Winemaking notes: Cabernet lots for D.R. II were selected from Stephens Estate Moose Valley Vineyard as well as other prime vineyards in Napa Valley based on their elegance and balance.
