The dark ruby/purple-tinged 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (84% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Merlot as well as a dollop of Carménère) is slightly reserved, linear, and restrained. Aromas of smoke, coffee beans, black currants, and damp earth are followed by a well-made, medium-bodied Cabernet that is best drunk over the next 7-8 years. Score: 88 - Robert Parker, December 2006.
