A The most seductive Rock and a Hard Place to date, the wine exhibits a dark ruby-black color with a compelling nose of pureed raspberry, black berry jam, crushed mint leaf, sweet Tellicherry black pepper and cocoa, followed by hints of Chinese 5 Spices, cranberry, prosciutto, warm tar, lychee and rhubarb pie. In the mouth, the wine's purity shines out with flavors of dried raspberry and cranberry, mint, sage, cured meat and fresh herbs, with elements of wood smoke, nori, citrus and smoky paprika. Superb acidity balances the excellent tannin structure and the wine's generous body, yielding a long, pure finish of fruit and spice.
