The Conductor is our best Cabernet Sauvignon. Year after year it is serious, complex stuff. The emphasis here is on balance, structure and precision rather than power and muscle. The fruit is sourced from a handful of select vineyards along the eastern edge of Sonoma County. Considered a “cusp-climate” region, this area is capable of ripening Cabernet slowly and evenly in a way that heightens aromatics, flavor and texture. The Conductor drinks well upon release, but has substance and fortitude to age gracefully.

The Story
Thirty There are two types of people in the world, those on the train and those standing on the platform waving goodbye. In 2010 I decided I didn’t want to wave from the platform anymore. So I left my comfortable job, threw caution to the wind and started my own winery – KC JONES. Today I work for myself making the kind of wines I like to drink. They reflect my experiences, my palate and my home – Sonoma County. Most importantly, they are meant to be shared with good food, good friends and good times.
