Dexter Lake Great news from Dexter Lake World Headquarters: I’ve been trying to get that lazy and near-worthless winemaker of ours, old Rorick, to quit spending all his time in the vineyards (yeah, I know it’s harvest, but really…) and do a bit of work on our 2010 wines. After weeks of cajoling, pleading, and outright threats, I finally sat down with him and put together a couple of first-pass blends. One of which — a blend which I, Dexter Lake, thought up — was so good, we decided that it shouldn’t have to wait until next spring to release. I’ll have more details soon, but just to give you a little teaser, it’s got Charbono, Mourvedre, and Gamay noir in it. Damn, it’s good! Stay tuned. Much love, Dexter http://dexterlake.wordpress.com/2011/09/20/more-reason-to-be-in-fine-spirits/.
