Anomaly The 2006 Anomaly Cabernet Sauvignon smells of sweet cream, Earl Grey and jasmine. Dark fruits pervade the core of raspberry and plum and are accented by notes of black pepper and molasses. It is a solidly structured vintage with palpable density, exemplifying the characteristics that have made Napa famous. The tannins are firm, round and sumptuous, leading to Anomaly's signature, velvety finish. This classically balanced wine will age gracefully for years. Wine Advocate The dense ruby/purple-colored 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits notes of barrique smells intermixed with blueberry, blackberry, and a hint of spring flowers. The wine is medium to full-bodied and has super-purity, sweet tannins for this vintage, and decent acidity. It should drink nicely for at least 10-15 or more years. Score: 90 - Robert Parker, December 2008.
